The Global Shapers Community is an international network of city-based Hubs led by young leaders working together to have a positive lasting impact on their community.
Global Shapers are highly motivated individuals who are actively finding ways to contribute to and engage with their communities. Shapers are provided opportunities to connect with the world-wide network of Global Shapers to represent the voice of youth at World Economic Forum events. We are united by a common desire to channel the members’ tremendous energy and enthusiasm into building a more peaceful and inclusive world.
The Los Angeles Hub meets regularly for projects and for community-building events. Members work together to develop and lead impactful projects that benefit the local community and work together on broader initiatives with other Hubs from around the world. Members are expected to attend meetings and participate in at least one project. We are committed to creating a community that unites people from all backgrounds, fields, and perspectives - representative of Los Angeles’ diversity.
The selection process is competitive and involves several rounds of interviews over a month-long process. Individuals who could not be provided membership are encouraged to get involved through Volunteers Untapped.

January 22-26: First Round Interviews

February 5: Final Acceptances
Requirements
Age requirement of 18 - 27*
Living in the Greater Los Angeles Area
Participation, joining meetings and hub events
Involvement and/or leadership in hub projects.
